A final for the ages

It's finally time for the final. Two teams with very different journeys go head-to-head to determine who will be the best team in the world for the next 4 years.

Chelsea out and about

So far in this competition, Chelsea haven't faced a team in Europe's top 5. After qualifying second in their group behind Flamengo, the Blues eliminated Benfica, Palmeiras and Fluminense with little difficulty.

The Blues have only faced opponents in matches where they were favorites, and for the first time in the competition, they will be underdogs in the final.

PSG unstoppable

The best team in the world. That's what this final will be all about. Except that before kick-off, there's already no doubt. PSG are just too strong.

After beating Atlético in the group stage, Inter Miami and Bayern in the round of 16 and quarterfinals, PSG demolished Real Madrid like never before. For 90 minutes, Luis Enrique's men kept the Merengues on their toes and punctuated their match with 4 goals. Had it not been for Thibaut Courtois, the score could easily have been extended by a few more goals.

The European champions seem untouchable and their football is the stuff of dreams.

A one-way final?

As kick-off approaches, it's hard to see Chelsea toppling the Parisians. Especially as the Blues have never faced a team of Paris' caliber in this competition. However, the Londoners won the Conference League this season and have finals experience. A final isn't played, it's won. But how can we imagine an outcome other than Marquinhos lifting the trophy in front of Parisians on fire?
