Pro League: This weekend's clashes

Focus on the third matchday of the Pro League where several clashes will take place. Between derbys and big battles, you will be spoiled!

Club Brugge – Cercle Brugge

We are getting off to a smooth start with a Bruges derby between Cercle struggling to kick off their season and Club coming off a defeat at Mechelen. As well as battling it out for the city, both clubs must win if they don't want to make a catastrophic start to the season. Get betting, because this match is not to miss!

KAA Gent – Union SG

After a complicated first matchday, both teams managed to pick themselves up last week. Union smashed OHL 5-0 while Gent got away with a little 1-0 against RAAL. This duel will take place in Ghent and both teams will want to keep up their momentum and not suffer a loss. We can expect a close match even if on paper Union seem better prepared for the start of the season.

RAAL – Charleroi

For the second derby of the weekend, we are heading to La Louvière this time for a thrilling derby. After being eliminated in the European competitions, Charleroi couldn’t get out of the negative spiral and drew at home against Sint-Truiden. For RAAL, the start of the season has been complicated. After a defeat against Standard, the wolves returned from Ghent without any points in their suitcases.

They will now continue their busy schedule with a derby that promises to be huge. If defeated, the 0/9 scorecard would be a nightmare. If they win, it will already be a crisis for their opponents from Charleroi. Our advice for betting: the wolves won’t lose!

Standard – Genk

Finally, the last clash of the third Pro League matchday will see Standard take on Genk. Disappointed to have lost the 3 points at the end of the match against Dender, the Rouches will be looking for revenge. On the pitch with them, Genk, who drew against Antwerp in a match dominated by the Limburg team.

Genk are stronger, that’s for sure, and if Standard want to have a chance, they will have to show a completely different game to the one shown in the first half against Dender.
