Pro League: the standings all shaken up?

For this 9th championship matchday, several clashes have the potential to shake up the standings and the dynamics of several teams.

Standard – Club Brugge

The Rouches' season has been a rollercoaster so far. After a promising start, Standard collapsed, triggering the departure of Mircea Rednic. Vincent Euvrard’s premiere hardly raised the bar. After this international break, Standard travelled to Westerlo, a place that's been cursed for many years for the Rouches. However, a 0-2 victory has given them renewed confidence before the clash this Saturday.

On the other hand, Club Brugge climbed to 3rd place in the championship and humiliated Monaco in the Champions League. Brugge will therefore be feeling confident at Sclessin. However, Blauw Zwart haven’t won at Sclessin since 2017. So if we have to recommend a bet, Standard won’t lose. In fact, it’s our best odds of the weekend!

STVV – KRC Genk

Two opposing teams in the leaderboard, and not in the way you would expect at the start of the season. While Sint-Truiden are on second place on the podium, Genk are in the red zone and only have 8 points out of 24.

Thorsten Fink has been confident so far, but another defeat could weaken the coach’s position. Sint-Truiden is a tough trip and Genk have played this week in the Europa League... It will be tough!

Charleroi – KV Mechelen

Here are two of the surprises from the start of the season. Charleroi and Mechelen are 5th and 4th respectively on the leaderboard. The match between these two teams will give full confidence to the winner and confirm their place in the top 6. For the loser, it will be a return to the mid-table. Who will you bet on?
