The different football groups at the Olympic Games
The round ball thrills the world with its various competitions, and once again, the Olympic Games are no exception!
Football is a very popular sport, it’s one of the most popular disciplines at the Olympic Games. This year, matches will take place all over France.
Paris, Nantes, Bordeaux, Marseille, Nice, Saint-Étienne and even Lyon are the cities hosting the various football groups for the Olympic Games of 2024.
The men's tournament consist of 16 teams in 4 groups, while the women's tournament consist of 12 teams in 3 groups.
While the rules of play are identical for both categories, there is a special rule for men's teams in the Olympic tournament. Indeed, they must feature players aged 23 or under. However, three older players may join the team.

While all the women's teams are now known, some matches have yet to be played on the men's side.
