Genk plummet, Union confirm, Brugge wait in ambush

Will the 7th matchday of the Champions Playoffs once again shake everything up? Club Brugge will have their eyes glued to the pitch during Saturday night's match.

Royal Antwerp vs Anderlecht

Here are two teams who have regained confidence!

On one side, Antwerp, who truly ruined KRC Genk's season by taking 4 points out of 6, and on the other, the Mauves, who beat a weak Gent twice.

The stakes are clear: this match is crucial in the fight for fourth place, which comes with a European ticket. An advantage for Antwerp, who will be playing at home after sharing the points at Lotto Park on 20 April.

Club Brugge vs KAA Gent

On paper, this is perhaps the easiest match of these Playoffs for Brugge. After humiliating Gent at home two weeks ago, it's their turn to host them in a fiery Jan Breydel.

If they win, the team from Brugge will then just have to wait for the final duel, which could change everything once again!

Union SG vs Genk

The leader faces the third place… but the roles are reversed!

In fact, since the fifth matchday, Union have moved to the top of the standings. With a dismal record of 1 point out of 12 in their last four games, Genk have lost the fruits of their labor in the regular season and have fallen to third place on the podium.

Another defeat for Genk and their dream of the title is over. On the other hand, a victory would revive the suspense and could give Brugge the opportunity to move back into the lead.
