Champions League: Belgian clubs set their sights on conquering Spain

For this 4th matchday of the Champions League group stage, Brugge and Union will once again have to face a formidable opponent, this time from Spain. At the same time, Real Madrid will travel to Anfield where they suffered a defeat last season.

Can they do it? This is the big question that Belgians will be asking themselves this Wednesday. After being crushed 4-0 in Munich, Club Brugge must react. Jan Breydel is made for big matches, and this is definitely one of them.

Hosting FC Barcelona could be part of Bruges' long list of Champions League achievements. Moreover, after a defeat in the Clásico two weeks ago, numerous injuries, and a tense situation around Lamine Yamal who is increasingly irritating and still seems to be suffering from pubalgia, this is the perfect moment for Brugge to pull off the feat.
