The Tour de France at Circus Sport
Who will finish with the yellow jersey? Which sprinter will wear the green jersey? Which mountain climber will proudly sport the polka dot jersey? Which young rider will be this year’s Tour de France revelation and finish with the white jersey? The 2025 Tour de France is already shaping up to be a thriller and at Circus Sport we’re making it even more exciting!
The 2025 Tour
This 2025 edition of the Grande Boucle will be made up of 21 stages divided into 3 phases. It includes 6 mountain stages, 6 hilly stages and 7 flat stages, with 5 mountain finishes and 2 rest days.
This year, Phase 1 will begin in Lille, so no Switzerland or Belgium this year. For the first time since 2020, the whole Tour will take place in France. This is the longest phase, including 10 stages across northern France, the Jura and the Massif Central. In this portion, there will also be a 33-km time trial for sprint specialists.
The second phase will then start in Toulouse and proceed through the Pyrenees. It includes an 11-km time trial in the mountains, which climbers are sure to appreciate, and a final stage in Carcassonne.
Finally, it’s off to the Alps for the third phase, the most mountainous of the three, with 3 mountain stages out of 6. And of course, it wouldn’t be the Tour de France without the famous finish on the Champs-Élysées.
